Dealing With Setbacks
Have you ever embarked upon a goal and then hit a wall?
You know what I am talking about—a set back. You either go back to your old habits, or something outside of your control throws you off track. How do you deal?
It is important to address the fact that most people who embark on changing any behavior experience a setback. How do you deal with falling off the wagon to the road of better health?
Strategy to Success
Part of the success to tackling this challenge is as simple as acknowledging it, and recognizing that it is normal. Many people feel shame or guilt when they fall off the wagon of their new improved behavior, and this alone can be detrimental to making the shift back to your best health. Acknowledging that it is normal to fall, is the secret that leads to success in reaching your ultimate goal.
Take The Challenge:
1.Take a moment to reflect upon a goal you may have made around new years, which you have not followed through with, and Write it down
2. Make a 4-step plan that starts today to get you back on track on that goal, and schedule the other steps in your calendar to ensure it happens
