The Unofficial Lowdown:

What I believe:
I believe mindfulness is the key to innovation, clarity, and finding fulfilment in our work and life.
I believe exercise of all forms and the mindful movement of yoga keeps us healthy in body, mind and emotional wellbeing.
I believe our intuition is our best advisor and that we can all access it.
I believe nature is our primary ally to health and healing and I’m committed to sharing eco-therapy and land-based healing practices.
I believe our creative projects and career path have the power to set us free–when we work on the projects that matter to us, we experience deep freedom. And to me, that freedom is just as liberating as gallivanting across Central America (which I’ve done several times)

What I do:
As a Certified Life Coach I specialize in helping you take action to move your life forward. Life coaching is a collaborative process. I'm here to share various tools, methods and techniques that help clear the blocks that are currently making you feel stuck.

We work on the emotional level and the strategic level: Often we first need to clear our inner-space (emotions, feelings, thoughts) so that we have the energy and clarity to take the outer action: goal setting, strategic action planning, and a clear path forward.

Everything I share are tools and techniques that I practice myself. When you work with me I’m not just following a protocol from a book. The educational certifications and theories lay a nice foundation, but it’s the lived experience that helps me share the tools and techniques with you in a way that I feel confident will support you too.

Asides for my coaching and meditation offerings, I’m a writer. I’ve been published on major platforms such as The Huffington Post, Collective Evolution, Mind Body Green, Tiny Buddha and more. I’ve also published several books: most are digital, and one is available as a paperback.

As an educator, I teach via live workshops/for special events, I've taught at several career colleges in Vancouver BC. including Holistic Business, Professional Development, Entrepreneurship, Nutrition, and Body-Mind-Spirit Courses.

Additionally, I offer Corporate Wellness Programs: I’ve led Meditation Seminars at companies such as BMO, Hootsuite, Aviso Wealth Inc, and more,  and led Nutrition Lunch and Learns at Major Law Firms such as Gowlings in Vancouver BC.

I also lead Meditation classes, yoga classes, and upcoming ecotherapy trainings and retreats.

My Past Education + Experience:
  • I completed a B.Sc. in Psychology from McGill University (Class of 2003)
  • I completed a Life Skills Counselling Certification at Rhodes Wellness College
  • I completed an ICF approved Life Coaching Certification at Rhodes Wellness College
  • I completed a Yoga Teacher Training from the Yandara Yoga Institute in 2006, have been recognized as an E-RYT from Yoga Alliance and have been teaching ever since. I also developed and led Yoga Teacher Trainings for several years (and may lead trainings again soon).
  • I completed a Diploma in Natural Nutrition from The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2006 and received the designation as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist in the Province of British Columbia
  • After years of working with Nutrition Clients and gaining clarity on the core struggles and confusion people face I wrote my first paperback Eat, Think, and Live Rich: A Guide to Health and Happiness – a comprehensive book that goes through the 8 nutritional keys, strategically helps people overcome common pitfalls and integrates a holistic emotional-spiritual layer so you have a clear guide to complete health and wellness.
  • I believe nature, meditation, and connecting within changes our life–creating clarity, purpose and wholeness. As an Ecotherapy Guide I bring my multi-dimensional background into our sessions in nature creating a rich and healing experience.

If you’re ready to get personalized support for yourself –I offer 1-on-1 coaching and consulting—I’m one part teacher, one part guidance counsellor, one part intuitive coach.

Ok, You still want to hear more? Here’s other random facts you might want to know about me:
  • I love coffee—organic, fair trade strong black coffee (and yes, I am an advocate of it’s health benefits!)
  • I’ve been a fan of Bob Dylan since I was 12
  • I’m a fan of Tupac’s messages of social justice
  • I get a kick out of law shows and watched Law and Order since it first aired
  • Travel played a big part of my life in my late teens and 20's - the first trip was NYC with a friend, the second was a student-work away agreement in the mountains of New Hampshire (The state with a license plate that reads Live Free or Die—definitely won my heart when I was 18!) which ignited the travel bug in me for a few years where I was naturally drawn to repeatedly go to Mexico + Central America. I've also lived across my own Country (including up in the Arctic—the Northwest Territories for a year, braving -50 C windchill—sounds incomprehensible until you do it!) and I've been across the USA several times, with a special love for the desert of Arizona
  • I believe the healing qualities and wisdom of animals is a powerful way to enrich our lives
  • These days my intrigue is with horses: specifically Equine Facilitated Wellness/Psychotherapy
  • I believe meditation is a key ingredient to work and life success and fulfillment. That’s why I made this e-book: Learn to Meditate. It’s free—you can click here to download your copy
