This week, let's take a look at the fats that harm. A prime example of a harmful, chemically altered, artificial food is hydrogenated fats. A hydrogenated fat can be partially or fully hydrogenated, and is considered a trans-fat. These are the fats linked to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, depression, lethargy and general ill health.
This is extremely serious – so much in fact that the Canadian Heart and Stroke foundation has been lobbying the government for years to ban trans-fats, and the American Medical Association has been advocating for the ban of trans-fats too and many other countries around the world have been initiating for such bans and crack-down on these detrimental artificial fats Comments are closed.
